Event Details: Join MI ACTE Board members and MDE-OCTE Education Consultants for a comprehensive overview of the Four Components of a CTE Program: Classroom Instruction, Laboratory Instruction, Student Leadership, and Work-Based Learning. This workshop will explore key elements of high-quality program design, including instructional planning, curriculum frameworks, and the CIP Self-Review process. Presenters will introduce essential tools such as the CTE Teacher Toolkit and Advisory Committee Toolkit to support program implementation and improvement. Attendees will engage in dialogue around classroom management, credentialing, and serving special populations. The session offers opportunities for peer-to-peer collaboration and networking with fellow CTE professionals. Participants will leave with practical strategies and updated resources to strengthen their local programs.
Host Location and Remote Participation: The primary host site for this session will be the Genesee Intermediate School District – Genesee Career Institute. Remote access points will be facilitated by MI ACTE Board Members at regional locations at Delta Schoolcraft ISD and Wexford-Missaukee ISD Career Tech Center.
