This session focuses on how reading technical material is distinctly different from the reading that students perform in other academic areas. This module examines reading as an applied skill required for success in college and for career readiness. This module aims to equip CTE instructors with teaching and learning strategies (“tools”) within a process-oriented framework to promote the reading of technical text.
